I’ve talked about the awesomeness of my church, right? I am not a church person. Really…I hate church. The dressing up, the hypocritical people, the kids who clearly don’t want to be there, the droning sermons, the mostly boring music…what is there to enjoy, right? But Brickcity is not a “churchy” church. No dressing up (unless you just want to), the people are genuine, the kids are having a blast, the sermons are relevant and interesting, the music is upbeat and enjoyable. It’s worlds away from the type of church I grew up in and the churches that have turned me off in the past.
This weekend is Easter, when we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior. It’s going to be an awesome weekend and the church is giving away 2 free movie tickets for each household who visits for the first time. If you’re a believer but just aren’t into church, if you’re wondering what it’s all about, if you’re searching for something more, come join us.
