		<description>While there were certainly some who did not vote for him due to race, I like to think that most people were able to see past that.  Definitely his stance on some issues were concerning but overall, he made more sense for me and my family than the other guy.  Just because someone else isn&#039;t in the same situation we&#039;re in doesn&#039;t mean they&#039;re wrong!  I try to remember how I felt after the passt 2 elections and be a gracious &quot;winner.&quot;</description>

		<description>It&#039;s nice to see someone in Sanford write about the election and not call everyone who didn&#039;t vote for Obama a &quot;redneck bigot&quot; or equate everything with opposition to Obama with his race rather than his stance on issues like one local newspaper writer.  Finding your blog today is a breath of fresh air.  I might start one myself. I voted for McCain, but am willing to give Obama a chance.</description>
