RSS FeedEverything was great today and we were even able to hear the baby’s heartbeat via Doppler. It’s very early for this, so great news! I am scheduled for a nuchal translucency screen on July 7, and we’ll get to see the baby via ultrasound again then. Hopefully I’ll get a picture worth sharing then!

When will you know if you’re giving the boys a little sister to play “protective big brothers” to or if you’re giving them a little brother to play mean tricks on?????

Um…about 2 more months I think? Usually around 18 weeks or so. The NT scan will be a little early to tell unless the tech is really skilled in reading the “angle of the dangle” at this gestational age. I kind of wanted to have a surprise this time since we’re definitely done after this one and because the birth will most likely be via scheduled c-section, but my husband says the big surprise was the beginning and won’t go for it. He’s probably right…but it would be fun to do the “surprise” thing just once!
