With both of my kids well on their way towards good health, a friend and I had planned on taking our boys strawberry picking today. And then it rained. We had to adjust our plans for something indoors so I suggested Party House, Inc. It’s a relatively new business to Sanford and we’ve driven by a few times but haven’t had the chance to actually go in. (It’s on Wicker St, between Horner and Steele.) We thought it was worth checking out and so we headed over there with all 4 boys.
I have to say this place is a great bargain at $6 for unlimited playtime. They have Wiis, Fisher Price Smart Cycles, some arcade style games like skeeball, a toddler’s area and the best part? The *gigantic* inflatable bounce house! They even have a camera set up so you can see the kids while they’re in the bounce house. We were the only ones there, which was nice since we both have small kids. All 4 boys really enjoyed it and there was much whining and crying when it was time to go.
If you have kids, give it a try. It was a great bargain and a fun thing to do on a rainy afternoon. We need to support local businesses like this…I saw the other day that Imagination Station appears to have gone out of business. With gas prices the way they are, I can’t afford to run up to Cary and do things like Monkey Joe’s regularly so this is a great local alternative. Plus they have free Wi-Fi so you can take your computer and work or surf while the kiddos play. It’s win-win for everyone!
